Trailer for ‘Loving Vincent’ Offers a Peek at a Movie Animated From Oil Paintings

Despite not making its £75,000 Kickstarter goal, an ambitious movie called Loving Vincentis slowly progressing forward. The film promises to be the world’s first fully painted feature film using real oil paintings as animation slides, Colossal reports. The movie will show 12 oil paintings per second—and so far, the team has enlisted the help of over 100 painters to make it happen.
